| Can I reserve a court in advance? | Yes. Using the CourtReserve app, you can reserve a court up to 7 days in advance. Courts for the following week open for reservation at 7:00 AM daily.
Lucky Shots Pickleball Club Pickleball utilizes CourtReserve for all types of reservations. Please download the app or go to courtreserve.com and click on: “create your free account”. As soon as you set up your free account, you can reserve courts through the CourtReserve app. |
| What is an “Open Play” session? | “Open Play” is a regularly scheduled, organized event where players can register to play without a partner. Players rotate in and out to mix/match with others of similar skill levels, creating a fun, dynamic, and social environment. “Open Play” sessions are scheduled daily to give players a chance to meet other players and experience the club at a discounted rate. If you do not want to play with different partners throughout the evening and prefer to stay with your group, you should reserve a court instead. The term “Open Play” implies no reservation required, however, pre-registration is required. |
| Do you offer private lessons? | Yes! We have large group classes/clinics, as well as smaller private lessons for 1-4 people. |
| Is there a Pro Shop? | Lucky Shots apparel and merchandise are available, along with pickleball game balls and a variety of paddles. |
| What is your cancellation policy? |
For Court Reservations: There is a 24-hour cancellation/reschedule policy for court reservations. If cancelled with at least a 24-hour notice you will receive a credit to your CourtReserve account. No credits will be given if canceled or rescheduled with less than a 24-hour notice. To cancel, go to “My Reservations” in Court Reserve, find the date and time, click on the reservation, and “Cancel Reservation” will be one of your options. For Private Lessons, Clinics & Camps: There is a 24-hour cancellation/reschedule policy for lessons. If canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice you will receive a credit to your CourtReserve account. No credits will be given if canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice. For Open Play: There is a 12-hour cancellation/reschedule policy for lessons. If cancelled with at least a 12-hour notice you will receive a credit to your CourtReserve account. No credits will be given if canceled or rescheduled with less than a 12-hour notice. To cancel, go to “My Events” in Court Reserve, find the date and time of your registration, click on it, and “Cancel Registration” should be one of your options. All refunds will be credited to your CourtReserve account as a balance credit. Refunds are processed within 2-3 business days. To reschedule without being charged for two registrations or reservations, you must call Lucky Shots at 612-230-9870. Our Welcome Desk Staff can transfer your registration and paid fee to another session. You can edit your court reservation in Court Reserve – go to My Reservations in the app, click on your reservation, and you can edit the date and the time from there! |
| Are there restrooms and showers? What about lockers? |
There are restrooms but no showers. We do not have lockers, but we do have benches and chairs outside each court where you can keep an eye on your things. |
| Can I bring food and drink on-site? |
You can bring small snacks and beverages. Only water is allowed on the courts. The Lucky Shots kitchen is open and ready to serve food & beverages! |
| Can I hold a private party or corporate event at the Club? |
Yes, we will work with you to determine how many courts you need, and which ones we should reserve for you. Please fill out the form on the “Private Events” tab, or email events@luckyshotspickleball.com for pricing and details. |
| Do you host pickleball tournaments? |
Yes! We will be hosting half-day Lucky Shots skill-level tournaments, as well as a limited number of large tournaments organized by outside groups. |
| Do I need my equipment?
What type of pickleball is best at Lucky Shots? |
Paddles can be rented in the Clubhouse; balls are included with paddle rental. We require indoor court shoes (athletic/tennis/running shoes). We ask that they be free from the debris of Minnesota outdoors (snow/salt/mud). You do need to bring your own pickleballs to use. If you don’t have your own, we have balls available for purchase in the Clubhouse. Looking to get some balls of your own? You will want OUTDOOR balls for Lucky Shots play because we have outdoor courts in an indoor setting. |
| What are Club Hours? |
Monday-Friday: 6:45 AM -10PM and Saturday-Sunday: 7 AM – 10 PM |
| How much does it cost to play? |
The standard time reservation fee is $35 per hour. During Primetime, the cost is $45 per hour. You may have up to 6 players for each court reserved. |
| Do you offer memberships? | Not at this time. |
| What is the CourtReserve App? How do I use it? | CourtReserve is a free app that you can download to your smartphone that will allow you to reserve courts and register for events. |
